Born in 1977 near Bergamo, F.D.E.  Soffieria Vetro is a glass blowing laboratory that produces borosilicate glass products for both technical and artistic purposes, with a high specialization in three important sectors: lighting technology, decorative objects and the chemical-pharmaceutical industry.

All products manufactured by the laboratory are made of borosilicate glass, a type of glass that has gained recognition for its robustness, ability to withstand extreme temperatures and rapid temperature changes, and its high resistance to chemical corrosion. Borosilicate glass is also known for its versatility, transparency, and being fully recyclable.
